Hey, we have been through a lot in the last 2 years! The murder of George Floyd, the unrest and divide in the US, the tragedy of Portapique, the loss of our soldiers during a routine helicopter exercise, extreme weather across our nation, the cultural genocide of our residential schools, and now the invasion of Ukraine by a madman.
All of this, during a pandemic where celebrations of life were postponed, gatherings were banned, fear-mongering reached new heights, and the emergencies act was used when a group of protesters questioned our "leadership"...
I guess what I'm trying to say is, it's ok if you are feeling overwhelmed, anxious, and unsure about the future. It happens to the best of us.
My professional advice is to have a good old fashion talk with someone - maybe during a drive, a nice long walk in nature, or even at a coffee shop.
I'd be happy to be that someone. We are here to help. |
